Actor Salman Khan is not the only one who faced this horrifying gunshot situation in his life. Today, early in the morning, two people gun fired outside his residence. This makes us recall the terrifying murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala as well. Hence, we are sharing a list with you, informing you that quite a few Indian celebs have witnessed gun-firing situations. While some are being threatened, some are killed on the spot.

Indian celebs who faced horrifying gunshot situations

Salman Khan

On April 14, two people came on motorbikes and shot in the open air outside Salman Khan’s house at 5 AM. Soon after the incident, Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol Bishnoi shared a note saying that they were responsible for the firing and that it was just the trailer. He even mentioned that this was the first and last warning. He wrote in Hindi, “We want peace. If the only decision against oppression is war, then so be it. Salman Khan, we have only shown you a trailer so that you understand the magnitude of our strength and do not test it. This is the first and last warning. After this, shots will not be fired outside the house only. And we have dogs named after Dawood Ibrahim and Chota Shakeel, whom you consider to be Gods. Now, I don’t have the habit of talking much.”

Rakesh Roshan

Father of Hrithik Roshan and director Rakesh Roshan was shot by Mafia outside his office injured him severely in 2000. According to the reports, he was shot after the success of Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai and the mafias wanted money from him. In 2020, the sharpshooter Sunil V Gaikwad, who had shot Rakesh Roshan back in 2000 was arrested by police. He was put behind bars for 11 murder cases and 7 attempts to murder cases against him.

Hrithik even spoke about the incident as he said, “My father was in a lot of debt because we had borrowed a lot of money to make the film. The film struck big time–it was the biggest hit in the past five-six years. The one that made me a star (Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai). Just in the first week, this happened. They knew my father had hit the big time, he was successful, and money was going to come in. So they wanted money, we didn’t pay. They shot him. Point blank.”

Gippy Grewal

The Lawrence Bishnoi gangster group claimed responsibility for gun-firing outside Punjabi singer-actor Gippy Grewal’s residence in West Vancouver on November 24, 2023. Like Salman Khan, he too received a statement saying, “While you may regard Salman Khan as a brother, it is now imperative for your ‘brother’ to step in and rescue you. This message extends to Salman Khan as well – do not harbour the illusion that Dawood or anyone can save you from us. Your impassioned reaction on the demise of Sidhu Moose Wala did not escape our notice. We are well aware of the kind of person he was and the illicit connections he maintained.”

You closely associated with Vicky during his time in Middukhera, and subsequently, you even expressed great sorrow for Sidhu. You are now under our scrutiny. Consider this a teaser. Feel free to seek refuge in any country, but bear in mind, death does not require a visa…” the note read.

Sidhu Moose Wala

Sidhu Moose Wala was an Indian rapper and singer. He was shot dead by unidentified assailants in his car on 29 May 2022 in Jawaharke village of Mansa. At the age of 28, he was hit by 19 bullets and he succumbed to death in 15 minutes. According to police, the Bishnoi gang claimed they killed Moose Wala to avenge the murder of an Akali leader, Vicky Middukhera, in 2021. Canadian gangster of Punjabi origin Satinder Singh a.k.a. Goldy Brar claimed responsibility for the murder. Brar, a close associate of Bishnoi, claimed that his “Punjab module” carried out the shooting.

Gulshan Kumar

Gulshan Kumar was an Indian film and music producer and businessman who was the founder of the T-Series. Kumar died in a shooting outside the Jiteshwar Mahadev Mandir on 12 August 1997. Reportedly, he was shot 16 times. As per the reports, he had received two threatening calls, on 5 and 8 August 1997 but Kumar refused to pay the extortion money. It is also said a Mumbai underworld organisation called D-Company is considered to have been responsible for this assassination.
